- Passionate about the outdoors and working with groups
- 2+ years of experience as an outdoor tour guide
- Commercial driving experience (understanding of DOT compliance rules and regulations)
- Confident, engaging public speaker (able to effectively communicate detailed interpretive and safety information to small groups)
- Physically capable of hiking 3-10 miles in a day on uneven terrain
- Experience cooking for large groups in a camping setting
- Able to work congenially with others, as you will be working with at least one other guide on all trips
- Willing to get involved in social media
- Promoter of Leave No Trace Principles
- Pass DOT Medical Exam
- Must be able to pass a background check, have a clean driving record, and be subject to random drug testing
- Proven history of leadership and experience
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (Wilderness First Responder a plus!)
