Guide Favorites: What to Pack For Your AdventureGuide Favorites: What to Pack For Your Adventure
This comprehensive gear list has been thoughtfully curated to help you choose what to bring. We’ve partnered with Backcountry.com, a Salt Lake City based company, to provide our guests recommendations for their upcoming trips.
Layering your clothing is the key to staying comfortable while hiking. Weather conditions can be unpredictable, so prepare for all possibilities, even if the forecasts promise sunny skies. Many of our trips camp at higher altitudes which mean cooler temperatures in the evenings. We recommend that you pack a duffel bag for easy storage in our trailer and mobility around camp. A small daypack can be used to carry items with you throughout the day.
* Optional but recommended
If your tour is visiting Zion National Park in the summer or fall, it’s most likely we’ll hike “The Narrows”. Closed-toe hiking specific water shoes such as Keens or hiking boots work well. View this example here
