Nick’s fascination with the outdoors began after hiking the Grand Canyon from rim to rim in 2009. In 2010 he played football for Central Michigan University. Two years later he moved to Las Vegas and earned a degree in Communication from the University of Las Vegas Nevada. While finishing his degree he was able to work at McCarran Airport for Virgin America and also work at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as a Marketing Intern. Working for Virgin allowed Nick to travel the world and experience many beautiful places.
Since graduating college in 2015, Nick’s dream has been to start a company that connects people to the outdoors. He taught himself how to code, create designs, and most importantly how to make a great cup of coffee. Additionally, Nick has been involved with guided hiking trips for people with disabilities. On the weekends you can find Nick in the mountains with his wife.
Most memorable outdoor experience
“In 2013 I decided to cycle solo from London to Rome. The journey took me just over 20 days as I cycled more than 1,500 miles in the grueling August heat of Europe. I crossed the Alps, popped a fair share of tires, slept in some interesting places and most importantly, made it back in one piece! More than anything, this journey changed my life and the way I look at travel.”
