Born and raised in bustling New Jersey, Jake always found solace in the regions more natural areas. After attending college in Connecticut and living in Brooklyn for a few years he was eager to see what lie beyond the tri-state – he sold everything he owned and brought a one way ticket to Australia. This led to a year of travel around Asia, Africa, and Europe. Returning with a fresh perspective he knew wanted to focus his career on two things, human connection and nature. From this came a job in wilderness therapy, offering support and direction to troubled youths in an outdoor setting. There, he found an appreciation for the transformative power of nature. He continues to help cultivate these experiences for others.
Jake calls Salt Lake City home and can be found on his off weeks exploring the nearby mountains with his partner and their dog.
