Riley was born and raised in the Midwest but fell in love with life in the mountains when she thru-hiked the PCT as her first backpacking trip. This trip sparked a thirst for more adventure, more experiences, and challenges in the outdoors, as well as deeper connections she made with others while in nature together.
This thirst led her to thru-hike other long-distance trails, such as the Continental Divide Trail and most recently, the Pacific Northwest Trail from Glacier National Park in Montana to Olympic National Park in Washington. These experiences were transformative for Riley and the way she views her own life and its relationship with the natural world. Subsequently, Riley began working as a wilderness therapy field instructor, using her experiences to guide healing journeys for others.
Now, Riley is using these passions and experiences to guide trips to places where she feels inspired and eager to share her stoke with others!
